Description:  Boeing-Everett switcher still assembling the consist for the uphill push. The mainline is shutdown while this happens - I have never seen another train pass when the Boeing Switcher is working here.

Description:  Boeing Everett consist ready for the push up the hill. This is the steepest rail incline within the shortest distance uphill- in the USA. The cabosse has 2-3 men in radio contact with the Engineer when this is pushed uphill- day or night - they use lanterns at night and powerful flashlights.

Description:  4186 leading a long freight through Mukilteo- The roadway on the far left of the tracks where the people are walking- is gone.. this is now the Boeing 787 dock track and new Sound Transit Mukilteo Train Station, - the cement walls on the left are all gone also. The tracks on the far right are the Boeing Spur tracks to the Boeing-Everett plant.
